Isabel & Debora Soto- Headed to Mexico!

As we look back at the last year and a half, we are in awe of how the Lord has orchestrated our meeting of the Sotos and has brought us to this point! Heather and Isabel's time in the States was incredible! They were able to speak about 10 times in the course of 8 days. Though the trip's primary purpose was to raise prayer and financial support for the Sotos, the Lord used the time both to strengthen the faith of those with whom Isabel and Heather shared as well as to strengthen their own faith!

One of Isabel's greatest concerns/prayers has been for Debora as she will be leaving everything that is familiar to her, including her school, her older siblings, her friends, the little children she teaches Sunday school to, and the list goes on. And God knows these sacrifices! Without solicitation, many times throughout the week people committed to pray for Debora, gave incredibly special gifts for Isabel to take to Debora, gave money to buy Debora clothing, you name it! God is answering the prayer of Isabel's heart- He indeed is going to meet Debora's every need, and He is continuing to confirm this call on their lives. Amen!

We are so excited about how God is burdening YOUR hearts for Mexico, and how you are responding to God's call on Isabel and Debora's lives. As of right now, Isabel and Debora have all of their up-front support (for tickets, basic furniture, visas, etc.) to move to Mexico either committed or already given, and approximately $1,100 committed of the $1,700 of monthly support needed. In order for Debora to be able to get into the high school here in Mexico, they need to move here by next Saturday, May 13th (Monday, May 15th, courses begin for entering the school system). God has been so faithful up to this point, and we are trusting that in the next week the other $600 of monthly support will be committed. We are standing in awe of God's provision- in awe of many of you who have responded to supporting this amazing family! THANK YOU!
